What are vision boards and why are people in the law of
attraction so into them? If you don't know the answer to either
question, then you're in luck as we're going to delve into why you want
one in your home or office.
So, what is a vision board? Basically, is a corkboard that you put pictures representing your goals on. Though you could definitely make it with paper and glue, you shouldn't, as you may want to move your goals around or change things. Essentially, it's a collage of your goals; however, you'll likely find that as you work with it that your design will become more elaborate. They're your visions, your imagination, and it's your life. What do you want?
Why would you want a vision board? Well, if you've studied the law of attraction, then you know that a major section of the law is clarifying your goals and imagining the future you want. A vision board is an opportunity to do both. Not only that, but it allows your mind a better chance to grasp what you want in the sensory world so that it's easier to pull into your mind.
In other words, a vision board is in many ways just a simple tool to help you with the first three things you need to do to manifest something using the law of attraction. In many ways, it's as helpful for clarification as it is for imagining-and in some cases, it can even help people overcome resistance.
To get started with a vision board, all you need to do is to get a corkboard, hang it somewhere, cut out pictures of things you want, and then tack them on the board. For the most part, you can get the things that you want out of magazines; however, feel free to print things off the Internet, make pictures, draw things, or write out words. I also like to tack up positive things people say about me like positive marks from professors I respect like "best paper I read this week!"
Though you could get started on a vision board for under fifty bucks at a department store like Target, you can actually get a pretty sizeable (and probably still in great condition) board and a ton of magazines (way more than you could get at five dollars a pop!) while helping a good cause if you go to a thrift store to get these items.
