The Law of Attraction is a very
important law of creation. You get what you put out.
The basis of the Universe is
well-being and abundance. It is only by limiting thoughts does one experience
any form of lack. By the entertainment of those limiting thoughts, the law of
attraction finds more thoughts like it until a physical manifestation.
The reason why many face reality of
lack or poverty is because this continued focus on a lack mentality. In this
way, they emit a dominant frequency of lack.
So, what's happening here? Let's
take a closer look.
A person in a lack mentality may
complain about what is. They may continue to beat the drum of how
badly they are in poverty. As a result of that constant beating of the same
drum, the Universe then gives them more opportunities to complain about lack.
The law of attraction expands
whatever it is that you are giving your attention to. As a result, many fall
into the daunting cycle of complaining about poverty seeing more evidence of it
- then complaining about it some more - yielding the universe to provide them
with MORE evidence of poverty and lack.
The law of attraction simply
responds to the frequency that you are putting out. So if you are putting out a
constant frequency about how upset you are with what is, then the
Universe will continue to give you more of what is to complain about.
So how does one break out of this
perception? How does one shift from this experiential reality of lack into a
truly vibrant experiential reality of material abundance and comfort?
There are two keys to making this
reality.
1. Give appreciation for
what you DO have. For it is the vibration of appreciation that allows for more
opportunities
2. Act as if what you
desire is already here.
Firstly, you must give appreciation
for what you have. By giving appreciation for what you have, you are setting
your vibration at the frequency of appreciation. Therefore, the Universe then
responds with more opportunities to appreciate.
It has been noted in many places
that adopting an 'attitude of gratitude' is a great way to open the
door of abundance. Appreciation is the closest vibration to source energy. And,
when you are aligned with Source, then you are 100% in alignment of allowing
the best of your reality to be revealed to you.
Secondly, you must act as if what
you desire is already a reality here and now. The reason for this is because,
as stated above, the law of attraction responds to the vibration that you are
putting out in the present. The point of power is in the present.
It is the present moment that that law of attraction responds to
Therefore, if you are giving off a
state of being of abundance, happiness and clarity, then the law of attraction
has no choice but to give you back this reflection in your experiential
reality. You must act it out. Go through all the motions. Whether you are
spending $1,000 in meditation or at the local mall - the law of attraction will
respond to this state of being.
So, let's say that you are knee
deep in bills, your family is annoying and you hate your job. To turn this
around, you must imagine getting checks in the mail (instead of bills), focus
on the positive aspects of your family and make the best out of your current
job situation. In this way, the law of attraction will respond to your modified
thoughts and will eventually reflect that change back to you.
It's important to understand that
the law of attraction does not differentiate between a thought of past, a
thought in your imagination or in response to something that you are observing
in physical reality. Whatever you put out is what you get back. This is why it
is so true that, according to the law of attraction, thoughts create your
reality.
This is how the law of attraction
works: You get what you focus on; essentially, there is no
other rule. In other words, attention is creating.
So what this means is that whatever
you are putting your attention to, you are creating more of. This is true in
the sense of the television shows that you watch, the conversations that you
participate in, and the books that you read and so on. This is why those people
who have had long careers in certain professions, have a history of 'acting
out' or 'focusing on' elements of that profession.
For example - a police officer may
have a history of watching police shows on television. In the same way, a
fireman may have a history of playing fireman as a child. What this means is
that in order to get more of what you want, focus on that which you wish to
create (more of). Alternately, those elements that which you wish to see less
of, simply shift your focus away from it. This is the law of attraction in action.
Another similar analogy to the law
of attraction and consciousness is the TV analogy. If you want to watch a
specific Television show, you change the frequency of the channel that you want
to see. Whatever you want to see is reflected back to you. Law of attraction
and consciousness tells us this: If you are on a positive frequency of
consciousness, you will get back a positive reflection of reality. Changing
YOUR frequency changes YOUR channel of reality that you are tuned into.
Thoughts create [your] reality.
Energy follows thought. Therefore what you think about, you draw onto yourself
via the law of attraction. It is from this perspective that one can see that in
order to change one's reality, all one needs to do is change their thoughts.
