The Law of Attraction means that we
are creating our own reality with our consistent thoughts. In other words, what
we experience in life depends on what we project on many levels. Of course,
this is just the tip of the iceberg. In order to truly understand the concept,
you must go beyond the surface, and there is much to understand. If you have
watched 'The Secret', you will have a good understanding of the basics of the
Law of Attraction. Now, it is time to look deeper and explore the depths of the
concept so that you can expand your understanding and awareness. The better
your understanding and the broader your awareness, the more effectively you
will be able to apply the principles of the Law of Attraction to your life and
the quicker and easier you will manifest your desires and dreams.
The Secret to applying the Law of
Attraction is understanding that your outer world is a reflection of your inner
world. How we consistently feel is an indication of what we are projecting from
within. We each have emotions attached to every subject in our life and our
experiences will unfold in accordance with the emotions that we consistently
feel. Our emotions are determined by our beliefs and our beliefs derive from
our consistent thoughts. Therefore, the condition of our inner world depends on
our consistent thoughts.
In order to correctly understand
'The Secret' and the Law of Attraction, it is necessary to understand your emotions.
Your emotions tell you what you are projecting at any given time. This is where
'The Secret' and the Law of Attraction is often misunderstood. A person may
think that the concept means that they need to think about what they want. But
if that person thinks about what they want and feels anything other than pure
excitement, joy, positive expectation and belief, then they have active within
them beliefs that do not support their desires. Consequently, that person is
actually focused on the absence of what they want and they are vibrating at a
low frequency. In other words, if a person thinks about their desires and
dreams but feels any tension or uneasiness, then they will inadvertently create
more experiences where their desires and dreams are absent.
The Law of Attraction, also known
as 'The Secret', is just the modern terminology for the set of principles
taught by many different people over the years, including religious leaders,
spiritual gurus and successful business men and women. The principles of
positive thinking are about achieving a true state of harmony within so that
one can live their deepest desires and dreams. Sometimes people think that they
are in control of their mind, but their mind is actually in control of them.
Controlling your mind means controlling your emotions, and in order to control
your emotions, you must be consistently aware the emotions that you feel
relative to your current point of focus. Two questions to ask yourself at any
given moment to check your point of focus are:
What is it that I desire?
What does my desire feel like?
